The Syllable project provides their own VMware image now, hence check their site for the latest image.

Long time no update :) Server problems should be fixed, so you
can download the images here again:

The Syllable 0.6.1 VMware image together with Developers' Delight
4, Builder 0.6.66, Ruby 1.8.4 and sIDE 0.4.4 can be found here:

February 24th, 2006...
I've uploaded 7zip compressed images of both Syllable VMware images.
The regular image: syllable-0.6.0a.7z
[23MB], the developer image:
syllable-0.6.0a-dev4.7z [56MB]. You can also find them
in the downloads section of course :)
As you can see, their file size is much lower than with regular
zipfiles. More information about 7zip:
http://www.7zip.org.
We also fixed the problem with the downloads that were capped at
23MB. We did not find the problem, however an upgrade of our http
server fixed it :)

February 8th, 2006...
Several people noted that sometimes their download stops at around
23MB... I do not yet know what the problem is but I'm looking
into it. Stay tuned :)

January 31th, 2006...
I've uploaded another Syllable 0.6.0a image. This time,
Developers' Delight 4 is included and DHCP has been
configured. If you have VMware Player installed
properly (i.e.
with NAT), you do not have to configure anything in
Syllable to access the internet :)
Also, Developers' Delight contains most
of the packages needed to develop and port software to
Syllable. You can find the image
here [110MB]
and in the downloads section.

January 21th, 2006...
The Syllable 0.6.0a VMware Player image is available
here [47MB]. This
image is the basic Syllable 0.6.0a install with the
resolution changed from 640x480 to 600x800. I'll make
a guide on how to create this image one of these days...
If you should have comments or so about this image, just
mail me and I'll check them out. I'm also planning on
making a developer image, so check regularly for updates :)
